FAQ

To update your timeline using sms/text, you need to *register your plurk account to the gateway*.

To register, send:

  • PREG [username] [password]

To update your timeline, send either

  • PLURK [your update]

    • or

  • PLURK [qualifier] [your update]

Valid qualifiers:

  • loves,likes,shares,gives,hates,wants,wishes,has,will,asks,was,feels,thinks,says,is
  • mahal,ipinamamahagi,nagbibigay,kinasusuklam,gusto,naghahangad,nagtatanong,nararamdaman,iniisip,sinasabi,ay

The gateway numbers to send to:

  • GLOBE - +63-916-4967171
  • SMART - +63-929-3632359

N.B.:

We are still on beta, so pls be gentle :-)

And please remove the characters '[' and ']' when sending your text, they are meant to signify that they, including the text inside, need to be replaced with the appropriate value.

There will be no confirmation message that your registration went through.

Wait a minute or two to make sure the gateway has already received your registration text and that it will be processed ahead of your updates.

Then try sending an update and see if it appears in your timeline. If it appears then your registration was successful. Otherwise, you must have sent an invalid username/password combination which plurk.com did not authenticate.
